[542] S. Does doubt (kaṅkhā) exist in the Arahant?
P. Yes.
S. Was it not said by the Blessed One: "Bhikkhus, not directly knowing the all (sabba), not fully understanding it, not becoming dispassionate toward it, not abandoning it, one is incapable of the destruction of suffering (dukkha); but indeed, bhikkhus, directly knowing the all, fully understanding it, becoming dispassionate toward it, abandoning it, one is capable of the destruction of suffering"? Does such a discourse (suttanta) indeed exist?
P. Yes.
S. Then, indeed, it should not be said that doubt exists in the Arahant.
