[710] [Paravādin:] "Does a disciple (sāvaka) know the passing away and rebirth (cutūpapāta) of beings?" [Sakavādin:] "Yes." [Paravādin:] "If a disciple knows the passing away and rebirth of beings, then indeed, sir, it should be said: 'Knowledge (ñāṇa) of the passing away and rebirth of beings as it really is — a power of the Tathāgata (tathāgatabala) — is shared with disciples (sāvakasādhāraṇa).'"
