[1100] For whomever, wherever, bodily formation (kāyasaṅkhāra) does not arise, will mental formation (cittasaṅkhāra) not arise for that one there?
For all [beings] at the moment of the dissolution of mind (citta), and at the moment of the arising of mind without in-and-out breathing, bodily formation does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that mental formation will not arise for them there. For those endowed with the final mind and for non-percipient beings, bodily formation does not arise for them there, and mental formation will not arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, mental formation will not arise, does bodily formation not arise for that one there?
