[1072] For whomever, wherever, bodily formation (kāyasaṅkhāra) will not arise, will mental formation (cittasaṅkhāra) not arise for that one there?
For those of the sense sphere (kāmāvacara) immediately after whose mind (citta) the final mind (pacchimacitta) will arise, for those who have attained the fourth jhāna (catutthajjhāna), for those of the form sphere (rūpāvacara), and for those of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara) — bodily formation will not arise for them there, but it is not the case that mental formation will not arise for them there. For those possessed of the final mind and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta) — for them there both bodily formation will not arise and mental formation will not arise.
Or, for whomever, wherever, mental formation will not arise, will bodily formation not arise for that one there?
