[1170] For whomever the bodily formation (kāyasaṅkhāra) has ceased, will the mental formation (cittasaṅkhāra) of that one cease?
For those at the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of the final mind (pacchimacitta), the bodily formation has ceased, but their mental formation will not cease. For the others, the bodily formation has ceased and the mental formation will cease.
