For all, at the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of mind (citta), and at the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of a mind devoid of thought and examination (vitakka-vicāra), their mental formation has ceased there, but their verbal formation does not cease there. At the moment of dissolution of thought and examination, their mental formation has ceased there and their verbal formation ceases.
