In the two feelings (vedanā) in the sense-sphere element (kāmadhātu), in the form element (rūpadhātu), and in the formless element (arūpadhātu): here the latent tendency of repulsion does not lie latent, but it is not the case that the latent tendency of conceit does not lie latent there. In the unincluded (apariyāpanna): here the latent tendency of repulsion does not lie latent and the latent tendency of conceit does not lie latent.
Or rather, where the latent tendency of conceit does not lie latent, does the latent tendency of repulsion not lie latent there?
In painful feeling (dukkhā vedanā): here the latent tendency of conceit does not lie latent, but it is not the case that the latent tendency of repulsion does not lie latent there.
