[1315] Whoever, from whatever [place], has latent tendency (sānusaya) through the latent tendency of lust for existence (bhavarāgānusaya), does he, from that [place], have latent tendency through the latent tendency of ignorance (avijjānusaya)?
Yes.
Or else, whoever, from whatever [place], has latent tendency through the latent tendency of ignorance, does he, from that [place], have latent tendency through the latent tendency of lust for existence?
Four persons (puggala) — in the sense element (kāmadhātu), in the three feelings (vedanā) — they, from that [place], have latent tendency through the latent tendency of ignorance, but they do not, from that [place], have latent tendency through the latent tendency of lust for existence. Those same persons — in the form element (rūpadhātu) and in the formless element (arūpadhātu) — they, from that [place], both have latent tendency through the latent tendency of ignorance and have latent tendency through the latent tendency of lust for existence.
