[1325] One who is without the latent tendency of doubt (vicikicchānusaya) — is that person without the latent tendency of lust for existence (bhavarāgānusaya) … without the latent tendency of ignorance (avijjānusaya)? Three persons (puggalā) are without the latent tendency of doubt, but not without the latent tendency of ignorance; the Arahant (arahā) is both without the latent tendency of doubt and without the latent tendency of ignorance. Or rather, one who is without the latent tendency of ignorance — is that person without the latent tendency of doubt? Yes.
