"Or rather, from where one abandons the latent tendency to ignorance, does one abandon the latent tendency to lust for existence from there?"
"In the three feelings (vedanā) of the sense-sphere element (kāmadhātu), from there one abandons the latent tendency to ignorance, but one does not abandon the latent tendency to lust for existence from there. In the form element (rūpadhātu) and the formless element (arūpadhātu), from there one abandons the latent tendency to ignorance and abandons the latent tendency to lust for existence."
