[1403] From wherever one does not abandon the latent tendency to lust for existence (bhavarāgānusaya), does one not abandon the latent tendency to ignorance (avijjānusaya) therefrom?
In the three feelings (vedanā) in the sense-sphere element (kāmadhātu), one does not abandon the latent tendency to lust for existence therefrom, but it is not that one does not abandon the latent tendency to ignorance therefrom. In the unincluded (apariyāpanna), one does not abandon the latent tendency to lust for existence therefrom and does not abandon the latent tendency to ignorance.
Or rather, from wherever one does not abandon the latent tendency to ignorance, does one not abandon the latent tendency to lust for existence therefrom?
