[1337] Wherefrom one is without the latent tendency (anusaya) of lust for existence (bhavarāgānusaya), is one therefrom without the latent tendency of ignorance (avijjānusaya)?
In the three feelings (vedanā) in the sense element (kāmadhātu), one is therefrom without the latent tendency of lust for existence, but one is not therefrom without the latent tendency of ignorance. In the unincluded (apariyāpanna), one is therefrom both without the latent tendency of lust for existence and without the latent tendency of ignorance.
Or rather, wherefrom one is without the latent tendency of ignorance, is one therefrom without the latent tendency of lust for existence?
