In painful feeling (dukkhā vedanā), one does not abandon the latent tendency of conceit from there, but it is not the case that one does not abandon the latent tendency of doubt from there; in the unincluded (apariyāpanna), one does not abandon the latent tendency of conceit from there and does not abandon the latent tendency of doubt from there.
Or rather, from where one does not abandon the latent tendency of doubt, does one from there not abandon the latent tendency of conceit?
