[146] For whomever, wherever, the aggregate of feeling (vedanākkhandha) does not arise, did the aggregate of perception (saññākkhandha) not arise for that one there? For those passing away (cavantā) from the four-constituent (catuvokāra) and the five-constituent (pañcavokāra) [planes], the aggregate of feeling does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the aggregate of perception did not arise for them there. For those attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbantā) in the Pure Abodes (suddhāvāsa) and for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), for them there both the aggregate of feeling does not arise and the aggregate of perception did not arise.
Or else, for whomever, wherever, the aggregate of perception did not arise, does the aggregate of feeling not arise for that one there? For those being reborn into (upapajjantā) the Pure Abodes, the aggregate of perception did not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the aggregate of feeling does not arise for them there. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the Pure Abodes and for non-percipient beings, for them there both the aggregate of perception did not arise and the aggregate of feeling does not arise.
