[158] For whomever, wherever, the feeling aggregate (vedanākkhandha) does not arise, will the perception aggregate (saññākkhandha) not arise for that one there?
For those passing away from the four-constituent (catuvokāra) and the five-constituent (pañcavokāra) [planes], the feeling aggregate does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the perception aggregate will not arise for them there. For those attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbanta) and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), for them there the feeling aggregate does not arise, and the perception aggregate will not arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the perception aggregate will not arise, does the feeling aggregate not arise for that one there?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn (upapajjanta), the perception aggregate will not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the feeling aggregate does not arise for them there. For those attaining final Nibbāna and for non-percipient beings, for them there the perception aggregate will not arise, and the feeling aggregate does not arise.
