[1498] For whomever the latent tendency of conceit (mānānusaya) has been abandoned, has the latent tendency of view (diṭṭhānusaya) … the latent tendency of doubt (vicikicchānusaya) been abandoned for that one? — Yes. Or rather, for whomever the latent tendency of doubt has been abandoned, has the latent tendency of conceit been abandoned for that one? — For three persons the latent tendency of doubt has been abandoned, but for them the latent tendency of conceit has not been abandoned; for the Arahant the latent tendency of doubt has been abandoned and the latent tendency of conceit has been abandoned. For whomever the latent tendency of conceit has been abandoned, has the latent tendency of lust for existence (bhavarāgānusaya) … the latent tendency of ignorance (avijjānusaya) been abandoned for that one? — Yes. Or rather, for whomever the latent tendency of ignorance has been abandoned, has the latent tendency of conceit been abandoned for that one? — Yes.
