For three persons the latent tendency of conceit is unabandoned, but it is not the case that the latent tendency of doubt is unabandoned for them; for the worldling (puthujjana) both the latent tendency of conceit is unabandoned and the latent tendency of doubt is unabandoned.
Or rather, for whom the latent tendency of doubt is unabandoned, is the latent tendency of conceit unabandoned for that person?
Yes.
For whom the latent tendency of conceit is unabandoned, is the latent tendency of lust for existence (bhavarāgānusayo) … the latent tendency of ignorance (avijjānusayo) unabandoned for that person?
