For the non-returner (anāgāmī) the latent tendency of conceit is unabandoned, but the latent tendency of repulsion is not unabandoned for him; for three persons both the latent tendency of conceit is unabandoned and the latent tendency of repulsion is unabandoned.
For whomever the latent tendency of repulsion is unabandoned, is the latent tendency of views (diṭṭhānusaya) … the latent tendency of doubt (vicikicchānusaya) unabandoned for him?
For two persons the latent tendency of repulsion is unabandoned, but the latent tendency of doubt is not unabandoned for them; for the ordinary person (puthujjana) both the latent tendency of repulsion is unabandoned and the latent tendency of doubt is unabandoned.
