For the non-returner (anāgāmī) the latent tendency of repulsion has been abandoned, but the latent tendency of conceit has not been abandoned for him; for the Arahant both the latent tendency of repulsion has been abandoned and the latent tendency of conceit has been abandoned.
Or, for whomever the latent tendency of conceit has been abandoned, has the latent tendency of repulsion been abandoned for that person?
