Or rather, for whomever the latent tendency of doubt is abandoned, are the latent tendency of sensual lust, the latent tendency of repulsion, and the latent tendency of conceit abandoned for that person?
For two persons (puggala) the latent tendency of doubt is abandoned, but the latent tendency of sensual lust, the latent tendency of repulsion, and the latent tendency of conceit are not abandoned for them. For the non-returner (anāgāmī) the latent tendency of doubt, the latent tendency of sensual lust, and the latent tendency of repulsion are abandoned, but the latent tendency of conceit is not abandoned for him. For the Arahant the latent tendency of doubt is abandoned, and the latent tendency of sensual lust, the latent tendency of repulsion, and the latent tendency of conceit are abandoned.
