Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 1539

[1539] In whom the latent tendency of sensual lust (kāmarāgānusaya), the latent tendency of repulsion (paṭighānusaya), the latent tendency of conceit (mānānusaya), the latent tendency of view (diṭṭhānusaya), the latent tendency of doubt (vicikicchānusaya), and the latent tendency of lust for existence (bhavarāgānusaya) are unabandoned — is the latent tendency of ignorance (avijjānusaya) unabandoned in him? Yes. Or, in whom the latent tendency of ignorance is unabandoned — are the latent tendency of sensual lust, the latent tendency of repulsion, the latent tendency of conceit, the latent tendency of view, the latent tendency of doubt, and the latent tendency of lust for existence unabandoned in him? In the non-returner (anāgāmī), the latent tendency of ignorance, the latent tendency of conceit, and the latent tendency of lust for existence are unabandoned, but it is not the case that the latent tendency of sensual lust, the latent tendency of repulsion, the latent tendency of view, and the latent tendency of doubt are unabandoned in him. In two persons, the latent tendency of ignorance, the latent tendency of sensual lust, the latent tendency of repulsion, the latent tendency of conceit, and the latent tendency of lust for existence are unabandoned, but it is not the case that the latent tendency of view and the latent tendency of doubt are unabandoned in them. In the ordinary person (puthujjana), the latent tendency of ignorance is unabandoned, and the latent tendency of sensual lust, the latent tendency of repulsion, the latent tendency of conceit, the latent tendency of view, the latent tendency of doubt, and the latent tendency of lust for existence are unabandoned.
