[309] Where the eye base (cakkhāyatana) arises, does the form base (rūpāyatana) arise there? Yes. Or rather, where the form base arises, does the eye base arise there? Among non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), the form base arises there, but the eye base does not arise there. In the five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), both the form base arises there and the eye base arises there.
