[333] Where the eye base (cakkhāyatana) does not arise, does the mind base (manāyatana) not arise there?
In the formless [plane] (arūpa), the eye base does not arise there, but it is not the case that the mind base does not arise there. Among the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), both the eye base does not arise there and the mind base does not arise.
Or rather, where the mind base does not arise, does the eye base not arise there?
