[310] "Where the eye base (cakkhāyatana) arises, does the mind base (manāyatana) arise there?" "Yes." "Or else, where the mind base arises, does the eye base arise there?" "In the immaterial [plane] (arūpa), the mind base arises there, but the eye base does not arise there; in the five-constituent [plane] (pañcavokāra), there both the mind base arises and the eye base arises."
