[501] For whomever and wherever the nose sense base (ghānāyatana) arose, will the form sense base (rūpāyatana) arise for that one there? For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), the nose sense base arose for them there, but the form sense base will not arise for them there. For the other sense-sphere beings, both the nose sense base arose for them there and the form sense base will arise.
Or, for whomever and wherever the form sense base will arise, did the nose sense base arise for that one there? For beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara), the form sense base will arise for them there, but the nose sense base did not arise for them there. For sense-sphere beings, both the form sense base will arise for them there and the nose sense base arose.
