Uppādavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 500

[500] For whomever, wherever, the eye base (cakkhāyatana) arose, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) arise for that one there? For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the five-constituent [plane] (pañcavokāra): for them there the eye base arose, but the dhamma base will not arise for them there. For the other five-constituent beings: for them there both the eye base arose and the dhamma base will arise. Or: for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base will arise, did the eye base arise for that one there? For the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta) and the formless beings (arūpa): for them there the dhamma base will arise, but the eye base did not arise for them there. For the five-constituent beings: for them there both the dhamma base will arise and the eye base arose.
