[349] For whomever, wherever, the eye sense base (cakkhāyatana) arose, did the form sense base (rūpāyatana) arise for that one there? Yes. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the form sense base arose, did the eye sense base arise for that one there? For the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the form sense base arose for them there, but the eye sense base did not arise for them there. For those of five-constituent existence (pañcavokārā), for them there both the form sense base arose and the eye sense base arose.
