[385] "For whomever, wherever, the eye base (cakkhāyatana) will arise, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) arise for that one there?"
"Yes."
"Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base will arise, will the eye base arise for that one there?"
"For non-percipient beings (asaññasattā) and for formless beings (arūpā), the dhamma base will arise for them there, but the eye base will not arise for them there. For five-constituent beings (pañcavokārā), both the dhamma base will arise for them there and the eye base will arise."
