Uppādanirodhavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 725

[725] "For whomever, in whatever place, the mind base (manāyatana) will arise, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) cease for that one in that place?" "Yes." "Or else, for whomever, in whatever place, the dhamma base will cease, will the mind base arise for that one in that place?" "For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn (upapajjanta) and for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the dhamma base will cease for them in that place, but the mind base will not arise for them in that place. For the others — those of four-aggregate existence (catuvokāra) and those of five-aggregate existence (pañcavokāra) — both the dhamma base will cease for them in that place and the mind base will arise."
