Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 739

[739] For whomever, wherever, the eye base (cakkhāyatana) will not arise, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) not cease for that one there? For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn into the five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), and for formless beings (arūpa), the eye base will not arise for them there, yet it is not the case that the dhamma base will not cease for them there. For those who are attaining final Nibbāna, both the eye base will not arise for them there and the dhamma base will not cease. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base … ? Yes (āmantā).
