[575] For whomever in whatever place the eye base (cakkhāyatana) will not cease, will the mental-phenomena base (dhammāyatana) not cease for that one in that place?
For non-percipient beings (asaññasattā) and formless beings, the eye base will not cease for them in that place, but it is not the case that the mental-phenomena base will not cease for them in that place. For those attaining final Nibbāna, the eye base will not cease for them in that place and the mental-phenomena base will not cease.
Or rather, for whomever in whatever place the mental-phenomena base will not cease, will the eye base not cease for that one in that place?
