[574] For whomever, wherever, the eye base (cakkhāyatana) will not cease, will the mind base (manāyatana) not cease for that one there?
For the formless ones (arūpa), the eye base will not cease for them there, but it is not the case that the mind base will not cease for them there. For those attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbanta) and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), for them there both the eye base will not cease and the mind base will not cease.
Or, for whomever, wherever, the mind base will not cease, will the eye base not cease for that one there?
