[737] For whomever, wherever, the eye sense base (cakkhāyatana) will not arise, will the form sense base (rūpāyatana) not cease for that one there?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn into the five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), and for the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta): for them, there, the eye sense base will not arise, but it is not the case that for them, there, the form sense base will not cease. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the five-constituent existence, and for the formless beings (arūpa): for them, there, both the eye sense base will not arise and the form sense base will not cease.
