[740] For whomever, wherever, the nose base (ghānāyatana) will not arise, will the form base (rūpāyatana) not cease for that one there?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn into the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), and for beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara): for them, there, the nose base will not arise, but it is not the case that for them, there, the form base will not cease. For those attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbāna) in the five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), and for formless beings (arūpa): for them, there, the nose base will not arise and the form base will not cease.
Or, for whomever, wherever, the form base … Yes.
