[351] "For whomever, wherever, the eye base (cakkhāyatana) arose, did the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) arise for that one there?" "Yes." "Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base arose, did the eye base arise for that one there?" "For non-percipient beings (asaññasattā) and for formless beings (arūpā), the dhamma base arose for them there, but the eye base did not arise for them there. For beings of the five-aggregate existence (pañcavokārā), both the dhamma base arose for them there and the eye base arose."
