Uppādanirodhavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 785

[785] For whomever in whatever place the form sense base (rūpāyatana) does not arise, will the mental-object sense base (dhammāyatana) not cease for that one in that place? For all who are passing away, and for formless beings (arūpaka) who are being reborn: for them in that place the form sense base does not arise, but it is not the case that the mental-object sense base will not cease for them in that place. For those attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbāna): for them in that place the form sense base does not arise, and the mental-object sense base will not cease. Or else, for whomever in whatever place the mental-object sense base will not cease, does the form sense base not arise for that one in that place? Yes (āmantā).
