[580] For whomever, wherever, the form base (rūpāyatana) will not cease, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) not cease for that one there?
For the formless ones (arūpa), the form base will not cease for them there, but it is not the case that the dhamma base will not cease for them there. For those attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbanta), both the form base will not cease for them there and the dhamma base will not cease.
Or alternatively, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base will not cease, will the form base not cease for that one there?
Yes (āmantā).
