[744] For whomever, wherever, the form base (rūpāyatana) will not arise, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) not cease for that one there?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn into the five-constituent (pañcavokāra) [existence], and for immaterial [beings] (arūpa): for them there the form base will not arise, but it is not the case that for them there the dhamma base will not cease. For those who are attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbanta): for them there the form base will not arise and the dhamma base will not cease.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base …
