[812] For whomever the eye element (cakkhu-dhātu) arises, does the nose element (ghāna-dhātu) arise for that one?
When those possessing the eye but lacking the nose are being reborn, the eye element arises for them, but the nose element does not arise for them. When those possessing the eye and possessing the nose are being reborn, for them both the eye element arises and the nose element arises.
Or else, for whomever the nose element arises, does the eye element arise for that one?
When those possessing the nose but lacking the eye are being reborn, the nose element arises for them, but the eye element does not arise for them. When those possessing the nose and possessing the eye are being reborn, for them both the nose element arises and the eye element arises.
