[811] For whomever the eye element (cakkhudhātu) arises, does the ear element (sotadhātu) arise for that one?
For those with eyes but without ears who are being reborn, the eye element arises for them, but the ear element does not arise for them. For those with eyes and with ears who are being reborn, for them the eye element arises and the ear element arises.
Or else, for whomever the ear element arises, does the eye element arise for that one?
For those with ears but without eyes who are being reborn, the ear element arises for them, but the eye element does not arise for them. For those with ears and with eyes who are being reborn, for them the ear element arises and the eye element arises.
