[837] Where the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) arises, does the truth of the path (maggasacca) arise there?
In the states of loss and woe (apāya) and among the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta): there the truth of suffering arises, but the truth of the path does not arise there. In the remaining four-constituent (catuvokāra) and five-constituent (pañcavokāra) [planes]: there the truth of suffering arises and the truth of the path arises.
Or rather, where the truth of the path arises, does the truth of suffering arise there?
