[847] For whomever, wherever, the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) does not arise, does the truth of the path (maggasacca) not arise for that one there?
At the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of the path in the immaterial plane (arūpa), the truth of suffering does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the truth of the path does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, at the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of the mind (citta) in the course of existence (pavatta), and at the moment of arising of fruition (phala) in the immaterial plane, for them there the truth of suffering does not arise and the truth of the path does not arise.
Or else, for whomever, wherever, the truth of the path does not arise, does the truth of suffering not arise for that one there?
For all who are being reborn, and at the moment of arising of a mind dissociated from the path (maggavippayutta-citta) in the course of existence, the truth of the path does not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the truth of suffering does not arise for them there. For all who are passing away, at the moment of dissolution of the mind in the course of existence, and at the moment of arising of fruition in the immaterial plane, for them there the truth of the path does not arise and the truth of suffering does not arise.
