[865] For whomever the truth of origin (samudayasacca) will arise, will the truth of the path (maggasacca) arise for him?
For those worldlings (puthujjana) who will not obtain the path, the truth of origin will arise, but the truth of the path will not arise for them. For those who will obtain the path, both the truth of origin will arise and the truth of the path will arise.
Or rather, for whomever the truth of the path will arise, will the truth of origin arise for him?
For those who will obtain the highest path (aggamagga) in immediate succession to whichever mind (citta), the truth of the path will arise, but the truth of origin will not arise for them. And for those others who will obtain the path, both the truth of the path will arise and the truth of origin will arise.
