[877] For whom the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) arises, has the truth of origin (samudayasacca) arisen for him?
Yes.
Or rather, for whom the truth of origin has arisen, does the truth of suffering arise for him?
For all who are passing away; in the course of existence (pavatti), at the moment of the dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of mind (citta); and in the immaterial plane (arūpa), at the moment of the arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of the path (magga) and of fruition (phala) — the truth of origin has arisen for them, but the truth of suffering does not arise for them. For all who are being reborn; and in the course of existence, at the moment of the arising of mind — the truth of origin has arisen for them and the truth of suffering also arises.
