Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 876

[876] For whom, wherever, the truth of origin (samudayasacca) will not arise, will the truth of the path (maggasacca) not arise for that one there? Those who will obtain the highest path (aggamagga) in immediate succession to which mind (citta): the truth of origin will not arise for them there, yet it is not the case that the truth of the path will not arise for them there. As for those endowed with the highest path, Arahants, and non-percipient beings (asaññasattā): for them there both the truth of origin will not arise and the truth of the path will not arise. Or else: for whom, wherever, the truth of the path will not arise, will the truth of origin not arise for that one there? For beings of the states of loss (āpāyikā) and those worldlings (puthujjanā) who will not obtain the path: the truth of the path will not arise for them there, yet it is not the case that the truth of origin will not arise for them there. As for those endowed with the highest path, Arahants, and non-percipient beings: for them there both the truth of the path will not arise and the truth of origin will not arise. ___________
