Suddhasaccamūlacakkavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 998

[998] For whom the truth of origin (samudayasacca) will not arise, will the truth of the path (maggasacca) not cease for him? For those at the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of the highest path (aggamagga), and for those who will obtain the highest path in immediate succession to [the present] mind (citta): for them the truth of origin will not arise, but it is not the case that for them the truth of the path will not cease. For those at the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of the highest path, and for Arahants: for them the truth of origin will not arise and the truth of the path will not cease. Or rather, for whom the truth of the path will not cease, will the truth of origin not arise for him? For those ordinary persons (puthujjanā) who will not obtain the path: for them the truth of the path will not cease, but it is not the case that for them the truth of origin will not arise. For those at the moment of dissolution of the highest path, and for Arahants: for them the truth of the path will not cease and the truth of origin will not arise.
