[997] "For whomever the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) will not arise, will the truth of the path (maggasacca) not cease for him?"
"Yes."
"Or rather, for whomever the truth of the path will not cease, will the truth of suffering not arise for him?"
"For those at the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of the highest path (aggamagga), for Arahants, and for those worldlings (puthujjana) who will not obtain the path — for them the truth of the path will not cease, yet it is not the case that the truth of suffering will not arise for them. For those endowed with the final mind (pacchimacitta) — for them the truth of the path will not cease, and the truth of suffering will not arise."
