[940] For whomever, wherever, the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) will not cease, will the truth of the path (maggasacca) not cease for that one there?
Yes (āmantā).
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the truth of the path will not cease, will the truth of suffering not cease for that one there?
At the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of the highest path (aggamagga), for Arahants, and for those ordinary persons (puthujjana) who will not obtain the path — for beings in the states of woe (āpāyika) and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta) — the truth of the path will not cease for them there, yet it is not the case that the truth of suffering will not cease for them there. At the moment of dissolution of the final mind (pacchimacitta), for them there, both the truth of the path will not cease and the truth of suffering will not cease.
