[875] For whomever and wherever the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) will not arise, will the truth of the path (maggasacca) not arise for that one there?
Yes.
Or rather, for whomever and wherever the truth of the path will not arise, will the truth of suffering not arise for that one there?
For those endowed with the highest path (aggamagga-samaṅgī), for Arahants, for those ordinary persons (puthujjana) who will not obtain the path, for beings in the states of loss (āpāyika), and for non-percipient beings (asaññasatta): for them, there, the truth of the path will not arise, but it is not the case that, for them, there, the truth of suffering will not arise. For those endowed with the final mind (pacchimacitta-samaṅgī): for them, there, both the truth of the path will not arise and the truth of suffering will not arise.
