[891] For whomever the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) arises, will the truth of origin (samudayasacca) arise for him? At the moment of the arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of the supreme path (aggamagga); for Arahants, at the moment of the arising of mind (citta); and at the moment of the arising of that mind in immediate succession to which they will obtain the supreme path — for these the truth of suffering arises, but the truth of origin will not arise for them. For the others, while they are being reborn and at the moment of the arising of mind in the course of existence (pavatta) — for these both the truth of suffering arises and the truth of origin will arise.
Or rather, for whomever the truth of origin will arise, does the truth of suffering arise for him? For all who are passing away, at the moment of the dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of mind in the course of existence, and, in the immaterial (arūpa) [plane], at the moment of the arising of the path and of fruition — for these the truth of origin will arise, but the truth of suffering does not arise for them. For all who are being reborn and at the moment of the arising of mind in the course of existence — for these both the truth of origin will arise and the truth of suffering arises.
